Best IVF clinics in Lagos: how to choose the right one for you.

Your consultation checklist

Questions to ask before paying for an IVF cycle.

Take these questions to every clinic you speak with. The quality and clarity of the answers matter as much as the décor, advertising or initial price.

01Who leads my treatment?

Ask who will review your history, choose the protocol and remain accountable from assessment through follow-up.

02Who runs the IVF laboratory?

Ask about the embryology team’s experience, witnessing systems, culture conditions and how laboratory decisions are communicated.

03What does the quoted fee include?

Request a written breakdown covering consultations, investigations, medicines, egg collection, ICSI where needed, embryo culture, transfer, freezing and storage.

04How is success reported?

Ask for results relevant to your age, diagnosis and treatment type—not a single headline percentage. No ethical clinic can guarantee pregnancy or a live birth.

05What happens if the first cycle is unsuccessful?

A good clinic should explain review, emotional support, stored-embryo options and how the next recommendation would be decided.

06Can the clinic support my specific pathway?

Confirm expertise in male-factor infertility, PGT-A or PGT-M, donor treatment, preservation or surrogacy before committing.
